these works address the cycle of all material, humanity‘s place in it, as well as its efforts to withdraw from it.
Found and gifted objects, silicone.
The materials, whose intended use has been forgotten, survive as faded, deformed foreign bodies without a fixed place. They make their transformations painfully slow. They form anthropogenic residues, grave goods of their creators. A symbol of human ignorance towards one’s own transience, the fact of one‘s own materiality and existence within larger structures than one‘s own.
Markers of disorientation and alienation.
